I started my Electrolysis journey at the age of 17 with my sister-in-law, my first ever electrologist. As a teenager with PCOS, I felt so insecure in my body for so many reasons, but the biggest one being the excess of hair. Receiving treatments that guaranteed permanent removal of this distressing hair was such a boost to my confidence for my early adult life.
I have a formal background in pharmacology and 8 years of experience and formal education in optometry. Shortly before the pandemic began, I decided to take the plunge into electrolysis through Swanson's Institute- the same school that taught my sister-in-law as well as all other electrologists I have received treatments from. Since starting my own business, I have no regrets! I have something that belongs to me that I built from the ground up. I am proud to be an electrologist and I am so passionate about my work and my clients. I am always looking to improve my skills as an electrologist and to ensure great outcomes for my clients. I truly believe that all clients deserve a customized treatment plan to suit their skin, hair and financial needs. I run a steady electrolysis studio and I am looking to expand my business in the future. I look forward to teaching students who are excited to take on this amazing career!
My studio is in a century home in Inglewood, Calgary called the Pink House. The Pink House is home to 2 other female owned and operated businesses- a hairdressing studio and a piercing studio.
