About the Course
Students complete 200 hours of practical electrolysis training with their instructor in a real studio setting. Together, the student and instructor create a weekly training schedule that fits the student’s availability.
All students learn the same core skills, including:
Technique, posture, and treatment flow
Safety, hygiene, and sterilization practices
Client communication and consultation
Confidence-building practice on a wide range of hair types
Treating clients under direct supervision
Using equipment and visual aids with confidence
Training is hands-on and personalized so students can progress at a pace that suits them. The program concludes with a final practical exam that includes both a hands-on and oral component

Mary

I am Mary, a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience and a certified nurse injector. I also hold a teaching certificate. My interest in electrolysis began when I purchased a laser package for my chin. After completing the sessions, the technician explained that laser treatment was ineffective for my grey hair and introduced me to electrolysis.
After researching, I found an electrologist 50 km from my home. A year later, I discovered another electrologist closer to home, but they relocated after COVID. This prompted me to enroll in a course so I could treat myself.
I subsequently incorporated Belle Ange Health Services to offer these services to my community. Currently, I operate a home-based studio, with plans to open a full-service spa in a commercial location. I also provide various medical aesthetic services.
I completed my training at Caruso International School in June 2022 and have worked as an Electrologist for the past 3.5 years, specializing in the thermo and blend methods. Additionally, I have completed training in brow lamination and lash lifts, and will soon offer basic facials.
I look forward to sharing my skills and experience with you and helping you develop as a future electrologist.
